I wasn’t fond of the last book, but this one was much better. Wrath was such a sweetheart. I loved how he was trying to negotiate this new world he found himself in. He and Lauren were really good together.
It was funny how Wrath, Shadow, and Brass made assumptions about who Lauren was sleeping with. I really didn’t understand what was going on in the beginning, but once they explained themselves, I really cracked up because it made a weird kind of sense.
I was also a huge fan of Lauren’s friend, Amanda. She and Flame seemed to get along well. I hope to see more of them later.
There was also another New Species introduced, Vengeance. He was kind of a villain, but my heart broke for him. I hope we get more of his story.
I will definitely continue with this series. I've become quite addicted to the New Species.
