This is my second foray into this mystery series and the author didn't disappoint. Interestingly enough, Lillian's life hasn't changed much since we last left her. But, this time her adventures takes her out to California to meet up with old college roommate. In a sequence of events that I won't give away here, they two of them end up at a LPGA golf tournament in Palm Springs. And from there the mystery ensues.
There's love, betrayal, discovery, loss, and of course the mystery. It was great. I couldn't stop listening to it. Every time I thought I had things figured out, there was another piece to the puzzle that confused things. It all came out and the end though, but I was left feeling a little out of sorts. I wanted Lillian to get a little happiness out of this one, but I guess it wasn't in the cards.
There's no way I'm stopping with this series now. I enjoy the quirkiness of this character. She's definitely entertaining.
