I've really been a fan of this series, and I was looking forward to reading this book. It's been a while since I've returned to the series and I was in a challenge that gave me just the excuse I needed to get to it. And while it was good, I felt like I didn't truly connect with the characters for some reason. It was the first time that happened to me in this series. Maybe because I have "known" them as long? I'm not sure.
I was a bit disappointed not to feel the connection that I've felt with other books in the series but it was still a pretty good (not to mention hot) romance.
