House Rules - Chloe Neill, Sophie Eastlake
*4.5 STARS*

Now that's what I'm talking about. This was more like the first few books when I really got into this series. The strategic moves, the tension between Ethan and Merit, the mystery behind what's going on in the house and outside of it.

I couldn't give this a full five stars on this one because I have to admit that Merit's whining got a bit on my nerves. I don't understand how she couldn't see Ethan's side of their argument and the choices that she made. I understood what she was saying but she had to see it from his side too.

I'm looking forward to see what the GP's (especially Darius) reaction to having the newly ex-communicated Cadogan House vamps saving their hides. I also am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for the independent Cadogan House.

But most importantly, I'm just looking forward to the series again. It got a little angsty for me there for a while.
