Son of the Revolution - June Venable
This is not a book that I would have picked up unless I had a challenge to do where the book was set during the revolutionary war. However, this was quite surprising. It was a face-paced enjoyable story about a young man who risked it all to fight for his country. Caleb certainly went through a lot in his 17 years, so it was nice to see things come full circle for him and for him to settle into the life he always wanted.

I thought from the description that it would be more angst-ridden, but it wasn't and the book focused mainly on the war and not so much on the personal stuff.
