Sassafrass

This is probably one of my most favorite series.  I read each new book within weeks if not days of it coming out, and I have absolutely fallen in love with the Masters.

So when one of my groups on GR decided to read the series as a group read, I jumped at the chance to reread my beloved series all over again.

Club Shadowlands (Masters of the Shadowlands) is the first book in the Masters of the Shadowland series and it introduces us to Club Shadowlands in Florida as well as introducing to the Master of masters...Master Z.  He's the owner of Club Shadowlands and überDom of the series.  

Then there's Jessica, a total newbie who happens upon the club when her car breaks down.  She has no idea she's submissive, but of course Master Z sees it immediately.

Jessica and Z end up playing together and their connection is instant and they end up falling for each other.

This story has very mild BDSM and it also heavy on the romance.  For this reason, it's one I suggest all the time to friends who are wanting to dip their toes in the proverbial BDSM pool.  There's some light bondage, minor spanking, and a whole lot of Dom lovin.

I've delved into much more intense BDSM stories where there is absolutely no romance, very light BDSM, and everything in between but this story definitely stands the test of time for me.  I absolutely fell in love with Club Shadowlands all over again and can't wait to revisit the other books as well.
