Incidental Contact (Devilish De Marco Men #3) - Eden Connor

INCIDENTAL CONTACT is romance at it’s best.  I can’t think of what I didn’t love about this story.  It had great characters, an incredibly engrossing story, and truly I thought this one was the best of the series.

INCIDENTAL CONTACT is the story of Eric De Marco.  He’s the middle boy of the De Marco clan, and he’s been kind of floundering since his mother disappeared years ago.  Nicknamed “honey bee” because he’s seem to have pollenated every flower in their town, he’s never really stuck to anything.  But a chance encounter has his sharing a kiss with the tomboyish, Amy Sizemore, and now his life will never be the same.

I was so surprised by this story.  INCIDENTAL CONTACT is the third installment of the “Those Devilish De Marco Men” series, and to tell you the truth, I wasn’t sure how much I was going to like it.  Eric’s character hasn’t exactly been a stellar example of the male species from what we had seen of him in previous books, so I wasn’t sure how he was going to be portrayed.  I should have trusted the author however, be she did an amazing job of unearthing Eric’s character.

And the fact that he hooked up with the most unlikely woman was just icing on the cake.  Amy was perfect for him though because she could see beyond the surface to what really lied at the heart of Eric and she was able to do what no one else could--believe in him.

My most favorite part of the INCIDENTAL CONTACT was the continuing story line between all of the brothers and their growing family.  Eric De Marco’s mother disappeared years ago and they were able to draw that to conclusion and get some closure  to an incident that my have destroyed their family.

INCIDENTAL CONTACT was a five star read for me because I really just loved everything about it.  As I stated before, this is the third book in a series.  It could be read as a standalone, but I think to truly appreciate what was done and concluded in the story it should be read in order.

My only concern now that I’ve read this is what’s next for the De Marco men.  Is the series over?  I’ll be so sad if it is because I really don’t want to let this family go.  There is a De Marco nephew though, maybe he can get a book when grows up?????  I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing a new generation of De Marco men! ;)
