So, I've had COME AWAY WITH ME on my TBR for a while. A lot of goodreads friends have given it good reviews, so I'm glad I finally sat down and read it.
I really liked Luke and Natalie's characters. Their courtship was a short one but it was extremely intense.
My only real complaint about the story was that it seemed to drag a little bit for me at some parts. Things happened that I didn't think really enriched the story. But, on the other hand, there were other scenes that were just so meaningful, they really had my throat closing up with emotion.
My only other thing is just something that personally took me out of the story. There were a few times when during sex scenes when the author said the character said "Argh!". LMAO, now I don't know about any of you, but all I could think of was a pirate. Then I was cracking up thinking about pirates having sex. Not hot sexy pirates, but spongebob squarepants pirates. LOL, luckily, that only happened a couple of times in the beginning of the book. I'm not sure I would have been able to continue if that kept happening.
Pirate sounds aside, I thought it was a sweet romance that set up the series perfectly. I can not wait to see what happens with Nat's best friend Jules.
