I'm not a huge fan of cozy mysteries, but I had to read one for a reading challenge. This one was a kindle freebie I got back in 2012 that was just sitting in my kindle cloud and so I decided to pick it up. It fit what a I was looking for genre wise and it also had cupcakes in the title. A girl's gotta have her cupcakes, right?
Anyway, KILLER CUPCAKES was really cute. I liked the main character, and I enjoyed the fact that this book had more romance in it than many of the cozies I've read in the past.
I will say that that I thought the story was a little too short for everything the author was trying to accomplish. I enjoyed it though, so when I need to pull out the cozy mysteries again, I think this will be the first place I look.
