This was a really character driven story. I really liked both Tobias and Noah’s characters. But what I really liked was this was about the psychological aspects of BDSM as opposed to sex. Don’t get me wrong, there was sex in this book but I loved the way that these characters looked into what was driving them to get to the point of where they were. I especially liked that Noah was doing that. So often I read stories where the sub is just doing what he or she is told but doesn’t really get to root of what will please their Dom. Noah was very good at that.
I think that this was a hard book to just fall in love with because we were just getting to know these characters, but I can see that I am going to fall in love with this series overall.
