*3.5 STARS*
I rounded up on this one, but it's probably more like 3.5 stars. I liked this story. I'm a sucker for this theme. But, Jason really pissed me off in the beginning with his holier than thou attitude. He got over it quickly though.
I also got upset with Claire because she wasn't telling Jason why she got so upset when she perceived he was taking over her life. But, if we didn't have those little skirmishes, there would have been no conflict in the book really.
I had the previous self-pubbed version so it had some minor editing issues that I think took me out of the story a few times because I had to figure out what the author was trying to say, but I'm sure those got fixed when the book was published by Penguin.
I was annoyed by Claire's best friend, Suzy in the beginning of the book, but she grew on my by then end--especially when she showed what a good friend she could be when Claire needed her. So, now I'm looking forward to reading her story next.
This was first story by Ms. Landon and I'll definitely be reading her again!
